Project Info

A nonprofit organization established to raise funds, develop public-private partnerships, and collaborate with Balboa Park stakeholders to address sustainability and accessibility needs in the Park. “With 1,200acres, Balboa Park is the Nation’s fifth busiest park with 14 million visitors per year” according to the Trust for Public Land. Awareness and fundraising were two of the most significant objectives in designing for this client. Industry of Hues crafted a new and fresh identity for the organization, as well as all core and supportive fundamentals. In addition, event campaigns and full design systems were developed regularly, including: Halloween, Food Truck Fridays, Cinco de Mayo, Cultivate Wonder, and Fiesta Botanica. Visitor Center deliverables such as apparel, signage, in-store graphics, and email newsletters were part of on-going design needs. Photo credits: Chadwick Gantes, Stacy Keck
